the morning after

Last night was another fine evening at the Red Car. Smaller crowd than usual, but just as fun. Marte and Tom dropped by on a rare date night, and fellow songwriter Lorie Doswell hung out for a few sets.
Jon Minei and a few of his pals had some brews and dinner, and Malia even stopped by.

If I can remember through the fog of one too many Electa Lites, the song list changed a bit. This is close, but not 100% accurate:

Rose On My Pillow, Last Night, Follow Your Heart, Time Enough For Love, Wild Las Vegas, This Cruel Rain, Wanderin’ Soul, No Regrets, 7 Bridges Road, Someday, Boys Don’t Cry, Quiet Time, Will You Still Change With Me, And I Did Not Know, Break My Heart, I Forgot To Forget About You, End Of The Road, Cross That Line, You Could’ve Been Mine, Forever Friends, Let ‘Em Shine, Moon Comes Around, Happiness, The Inside, Whiskey and Memories.

After the load-out, Tommy Moreno and I headed to the Jet Hanger for yet more beers closer to home and had a fun time talking about music.

Next stop, Brea for my next Borders show on June 17th.

I’ll be back at the Red Car a few times in the next few months: another solo performance on June 18, and then hosting the inaugural South Bay Songwriters Song Circle with Lorie Doswell and Estela Puelma and others on Sunday, July 10th.
